Samurai Submersible - SH Series Semi Vortex Impeller Pump

WAPSA SH Series Samurai Submersible Pump is a superior quality, robust & reliable submersible, designed with

a semi vortex impeller including an agitator built into the impeller nut. The SH Series pump is ideally suited for

various sand laden wastewater applications. The SH Series pump is a single phase, light weight but highly

durable pump with an easy grip handle including sturdy PVE base, making it ideally suitable for various portable

& permanent dewatering applications including & not limited to :

• cable pit drainage

• basement & cellar storm water drainage

• pool & tank pump out

• decorative water features and fountains,

• civil works & construction site dewatering consisting of sand,

gravel, mud and slurry.

The SH Series Samurai Submersible Pump is available in a both

0.4kw & 0.75kW 240V automatic & manual versions.

SUPERIOR FEATURES

Cable Entry – Water Ingress Protection

Every Samurai Submersible Pump has an anti-wicking segment design eliminating moisture incursion into the motor

as a result of any damage to the cable, through the capillary wicking action. Each strand of wire is stripped back to

the core and is completely sealed by vulcanized rubber (on smaller pumps) or epoxy mould (on larger pumps) to

insulate each strand of wire.

Motor Protection

All Samurai Pumps are fitted with motor protectors to protect the motor from overloading, particularly in times of

locked rotor.

Heavy Duty Shaft

Whilst most manufacturers are trying to cut costs of production of submersible pumps by making pumps lighter,

Samurai pumps maintains a heavy duty shaft, with low Length/Deflection ratios. The lower the ratio, the lower the

shaft deflection, results in lower rate of shaft fatigue for reliable operation.

Dual Mechanical Seal

All Samurai Pumps include a Dual Mechanical Seal, with a vast

majority of models having both sets of seal faces manufactured

from Silicon Carbide. Smaller pump seals materials consist of

carbon/ceramic secondary seal with a Silicon Carbide/Silicon

Carbide primary seal. Primary seals are located completely out of

pumping liquid, operating in an oil filled chamber, ensuring trouble

free operation.
