The system is more complex ”under the hood” than it appears

There are limitations when managing toolbars in ArcGIS Desktop

Project file and models can be corrupted without warning

File geodatabase grows even if just reading (use "compact" tool)

Don't know what directory ArcGIS will run script in (use absolute paths)

Query syntax different for shapefiles vs. geodatabases

Search using direct SQL queries in addition to the buffer method

Develop a complete drawing management system
