How Does ThermaSkirt Work ?

They heated by water like a radiator. They work on true radiation, like UFH They heat all round the room at low level They connect onto conventional plumbed

heating systems. Low temperature versions have become

available for Renewable Energy Sources

How are they Installed ?

They replace the skirtings around the room. They are fixed to the walls using concealed

fixings, usually at 2nd fix stage. They often utilise standard push fit fittings to

make the connections to the heating system. They often use special connectors at joints

and corners to complete the system.

How does Thermal Skirting Perform ?

Responds like a radiator – heats a room in minutes not hours

Heat distribution is indistinguishable from UFH

Cools down quickly in response to changing external temperature

Works with any floor covering - unaffected by timber, carpet & laminate

Energy Efficiency

All the heat energy is input into the room No energy is wasted heating the ceiling or

the floor slab. No energy wasted in reaching the far side

of the room. Not all furniture is against the walls ~ all

furniture is on the floor. Only ON when required, and OFF when

not.
