Greene’s Energy Story • The Company’s predecessor, Greene’s Pressure Testing and Rentals, Inc. was
founded in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1953 to provide rental tool and testing services for the oil and gas market
•In the late 60’s and early 70’s, Greene’s added a line of rental equipment to accompany BOP testing. In the mid 70’s, it started performing production tests, and testing of heaters, separators, flow lines and pipelines. •Hydraulic torque wrench services were added in 1982. •In the 80’s it expanded into the testing, flushing and reinstatement of piping, flanges and valves for construction of offshore drilling rigs, barges, structural components of fixed platforms, production modules, floating MOPU’s and topside production decks for platforms. •Over the years GEG has been successful in extending its geographic footprint and expanding its services lines through the acquisitions of an array of Oil & Gas service groups. •2008 GEG Expands Pipeline services into Brazil •2010 GEG open Asian Pacific Office to service both the Middle East and Asian Pipeline markets. •GEG Positioning of an Asian based asset pool. •Most recently GEG has added Water Treatment Services and expanded operations into Brazil. •Bob Vilyus – Chief Executive Officer has held numerous leadership positions at companies within the energy services industry and prior to joining GEG he served as President and CEO of PII North America, President of Weatherford Compression and President of Gemoco. He has been directly involved in 22 acquisitions and has extensive international business experience.

Sea Water Treatment
• Seawater filtered through 100 micron filters
• Flooding Chemicals @ 200 ppm – Clariant Make Multi-Treat 5549R
• Florescent Sea dye @ 15 ppm
• Chemical approved by MIGAS
Gauging of Pipeline • Maximum Pipeline thickness – 14.3 mm in Zone 4,
Onshore Section• Selection of Gauge Plate: 95% of Minimum Pipeline
ID (at zone 4) i.e. 95% of 327 mm = 310.65 • To be confirmed: Pipewall thickness of onshore
pipeline/bends
• Further possibilities » EGP Survey » MFL Inspection
• Client to advise on Pipeline Internal Inspection
Geometry Inspection Calliper Inspection will
typically gives data on dents and ovality in Pipeline
Change in internal dia of pipeline
Will be run while dewatering in case its required
MFL Inspection High Resolution ILI – Hall Sensors
MFL Inspection
• Each Sensor is analyzed• Gives changes in
internal dia with respect to corrosion
Hydrotesting of Pipeline
• After installation of SSIV and Riser Tie Ins • Limits: Ruby PQP Riser Top to Senipah
Terminal
Hydrotest Spread/Instruments
Hydrotest – Stages
Pressurize to 35 bar – Air content check Pressurize to 50% of Test Pressure – Leak
Check Pressurize to 95% of Test Pressure – Leak
Check and stabilization Pressurize to Test Pressure Isolate, monitor stabilization24 hr Hold period After successful hydrotest, depressurize to
static head
Bulk Dewatering & Drying
• Proposed from Senipah Terminal so as water can be discharged to sea
• Dewatering Pig Train(s) from permanent pig launcher at Senipah Terminal to temporary (permanent) pig receiver at Ruby PQP
• Vacuum Drying – proposed drying method due to high length of pipeline
Dewatering Stages Desalination & Dewatering Pig # 1 bi-di magnetic high
seal pig Slug of fresh water
equivalent to 350 m3
Pig # 2 bi-di magnetic high seal pig
Slug of fresh water equivalent to 300 m3
Pig # 3 bi-di magnetic high seal pig
Slug of dry air equivalent to 1000 mtr of line volume
Pig#4 bi-di magnetic high seal pig
Line Volume of compressed dry air
Vacuum Drying
Principle: Water boils at -20 deg C at 1 mbar pressure. So reduction in pressure in system to saturated vapour pressure can cause water to boil which can be removed as gas with a vacuum pump
Stages Initial Draw Down Phase: Pressure in pipeline will be brought down to
23 mbar so that water will boil at 20 deg C (ambient temperature) Vaporization Phase: Vacuum pump will continue pumping water
vapours out of system Final Draw down phase – depressurize to 1 mbar Soak Test – Monitoring for 12 hrs
Acceptance: maintaining the pressure of 1 mbar for over a continuous period of 12 hrs.
Nitrogen Purging
• Limits of Operation: from permanent pig launcher at Senipah terminal to permanent pig receiver at Ruby PQP
• Due to very high quantity, Nitrogen generated at Site using membrane units
