– Sold for 5 cents a glass at Jacobs’ Pharmacy– Frank Robinson names the syrup, Coca-Cola.
• 1888 – Pemberton sells Coca-Cola to Asa Griggs Candler– Pemberton dies before experiencing Coca-Cola’s success
• 1891 – Candler achieves sole ownership, at a total cost of $2300• 1892 – The Coca-Cola Company is formed.• 1893 – The Coca-Cola name is trademarked.• 1894 – First syrup manufacturing plant outside of Atlanta is opened in
Dallas, TX.• 1895 – Coca-Cola is available in every state.• 1899 – Bottling rights are sold to two Tennessee men, and they join
