Roberto Valenzuela was drawn to wedding photography in a large part, because of his own wedding to his high school sweetheart. After over 10 years of knowing each other and 6 years of dating, Kim and Roberto got married on New Year’s Eve in 2004. That evening was so special, that it redefined what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Documenting people in one of the most special days of their lives has become his focus

and passion. Roberto believes great photography can be achieved by paying attention to the surroundings and grabbing special moments as they unfold throughout the day, therefore, allowing the wedding to be about the bride and groom, and not turning it into a daylong photo shoot. Roberto strives to create elegant, real, and editorial-style images that tell a story and, most importantly, do not go out of style.
