Physicians in the United States prescribe more opioids per capita than any other country in the world. The number two country is Denmark, and

they prescribe 50% of what we prescribe.

Physicians are told constantly not to undertreat pain.

• Unfortunately, many physicians are not looking at the science to treat pain.
