DAY CAMP SESSION 2
EXPLORING BROOKLYN! Did you know that the Brooklyn Bridge was the first steel-wire suspension bridge in the world?! Campers learned a ton of new fun facts during Session 2 about
Brooklyn. Activities, guest speakers, and trips all focused on the
Brooklyn borough. Adventure and Movin’ On camps spent the day at
Aviator Sports learning how to rock climb (Picture Above). Other
groups, including Express 7, Express 8, and Express 6 created
memorable arts and crafts that reflected what they had learned
after visiting the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Sports camp had a
blast learning new skills at the park and interacting with other kids
from different camps. All camps continued their summer reading
and created posters with fun drawings and facts from the books.
Join us next Session starting July 30th!
