Report on Corona Virus Awareness Programs conducted by PMS College of Dental Science and Research. 

Novel Corona Virus has become a pandemic involving many countries. Now cases 

have been reported in Kerala too and the people are becoming panic. So the PMS 

College  of  Dental  Science  and  Research,  has  initiated  Corona  Virus  awareness 

programs  to make  the  people  aware  about  the  distribution  and  symptoms  of 

corona  infection. An awareness talk was given by Col Dr. K.ERajan. MD.(General 

Medicine)  to  all  the  teaching  and  non‐teaching  staff  of  PMS  College  of Dental 

Science and Research. The Department of Public Health Dentistry, PMS College of 

Dental  Science  and  Research  prepared  a  pamphletexplaining  about  the  novel 

corona  virus,  how  it  is  getting  spread,  what  are  the  symptoms  and  what  all 

precautions have to take to avoid getting infected. The students of PMS College of 

Dental Science and Research did door to door awareness campaign by distributing 

the pamphlets. The out patients were given awareness talk regarding the same. 

The  staffs  of  Department  of  Public  Health  Dentistry  namely  Dr.SwathyAnand, 

Dr.Deepan Kumar, Dr. Kiran Shanker and Dr. Sunitha participated in the program. 

Miss. Anuja, Miss. Karthika, Mr. Rahul Raj and Mr. Mohammed Siddique were the 

interns participated in the program.
