About symphony #40

Mozart wrote his symphony #40 in G minor and it was completed on July 25th 1788. Sometimes this music is called the “Great G Minor Symphony”.

The picture is considered the most common portrait of Mozart. However, this is actually not a true image of Mozart himself,as he never actually sat for the portrait. It was painted posthumously by Barbara Krafft, 30 years after he died.
