As authorities were stating, the leaving was temporary.
However, it was not true.
Pripyat was treated with a special solution to cope with
radiation
Yet, it hasn’t become the safe place so far
Today, Pripyat is open air museum town
and part of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone
The city is soaked with atomic dust
Sagebrush is growing all over the place
Buildings are breaking down
