BRIEF FACTS:
The A-1Pittala Srinivas @ Srinanna,A-2 Vallala Nagamallaiah @ Mallesh, A-3
Edavalli Srinivas Reddy and A-4 Gangapuram Swamy are the Ex-Naxalites who
previously worked in different organizations of CPI (ML) Maoist and CPI (ML)
Janashakthi groups. Of them, the A-1 Pittala Srinivas @ Srinanna along with his
wife Pushpa worked in Janashakthi group from 1994 to 1996 and he was the C.O of
Palakurthi &Thorrur mandals. The A-2 Vallala Naga Mallaiah @ Mallesh had
worked as strong militant of CPI (ML) Maoist group(PWG) from1986 to1990.
Initially, heworked in Radical organization for about three years and then
assisted to the Alair Guerilla squad for a period of one year. After that, he also
joined in CPI (ML) Janashakthi group and worked together with A-3 Edavalli Srinivas
Reddy till 1995. The A-3 Edavalli Srinivas Reddy worked in Janashakthi Group
from 1991 to 1997 as C.O of Mothkur, Athmakur (M) and Gundala areas of
erstwhile Nalgonda district. The A-4 Gangapuram Swamy also worked in same
group as C.O of Devaruppala and Kodakandla areas of erstwhile Warangal
district. After their tenure in the above extremist groups, the A-1 to A-4 were
surrendered before the Police who in turn bounded them over before the Mandal
Executive Magistrate under security acts.
In fact, the A-1 to A-4 got acquainted to each other while they were working in
the similar and banned extremist organizations. After departing from the extremist
groups, they attended labour work here and there in different areas in Hyderabad
City, but they could not succeed economically. As such, at present, the A-1 Pittala
Srinivas @ Srinanna has been making the idols at his native village Chennur of
Palakurthi mandal, whereas the A-2 Vallala Naga Mallaiah, A-3 Edavalli Srinivas
Reddy have been doing real estate business and the A-4 Gangapuram Swamy
working as driver. However, having experienced in criminal intimidations and
extortions during their tenure in extremists field, the
A-1, A-2 and A-4 have indulged in various criminal cases after their departure from
the banned extremist organizations.
Likewise, during the year 2019, the A-1 Pittala Srinivas and A-4 Gangapuram
Swamy along with other their associates committed a dacoity under the limits
of Kodakandla PS, in which they threatened the wine shop people at the point of
country made weapons and robbed away net cash Rs.6,00,000/- from them. This is
the subject matter of Cr.No. 03/2019 U/s 397 IPC, Sec.25 (1-B) (a) Arms Act of PS
Kodakandla. In which the A-1 & A-4 and their associates were arrested and
remanded to judicial custody.
The following are the crimes, in which the A-1 to A-4 involved.

A-4 Gangapuram Swamy.
1. Cr.No.03/2019 U/s 397 IPC, Sec.25 (1-B) (a) Arms Act of PS Kodakandla
During the year 2016, the A-2 Vallala Naga Mallaiah has murdered one
Saduvelli Kamalakar Rao of Yadagirigutta town suspecting him to be the main
person and instigator for the love & inter-caste marriage of his daughter. This is the
subject matter of Cr.No.82/2016 U/s 302 IPC of PS Yadagirigutta. But, after
releasing from the jail in the above case, the A-2 Vallala Naga Mallaiah suspected
that the sons of Saduvelli Kamalakar Rao (deceased in the above murder case)
intent to do him away at any account in retaliation to the murder of their father.
Moreover, he has also an issue with others in respect of his open house plot to an
extent of (238) square yards located in Pathagutta road, Yadagirigutta.
As such, once the A-2 met with A-3 Edavalli Srinivas Reddy @ Chandranna and
sought his help to get rid off from his problems. Then, the A-3 referred his matter to
the A-1 Pittala Srinivas @ Srinanna who is active in making of settlements and
manufacturing of country made weapons. On hearing the issue of A-2 Vallala Naga
Mallaiah and at his request, the A-1 Pittala Srinivas assured him to get his land issue
settled, apart from providing him a country made weapon for the purpose of self
protection & threatening to his targeted people. For which, the A-1 has asked the A-
2 to give him an amount of Five Lakhs Rupees towards his expenditure and for
purchasing of required weapons. Accordingly, the A-2 has given him an amount of
One Lakh Rupees in two instalments towards advance.
Meanwhile, the A-4 Gangapuram swamy@ Mallesh who is in regular contact
with the A-1 Pittala Srinivas & A-3 Edavalli Srinivas Reddy also joined with them.
Since the accused A-1 to A-4 are having well experience in extremist activities, all of
them together hatched a plan to extort money from the realtors in the surrounding
area of Yadagirigutta and Hyderabad City under the guise of Naxalites belongs to
CPI (ML) Maoist group, as the real estate boom in these areas is growing fast.
According to their plan, the A-1 has prepared letter heads on the name of
‘BHARATHA COMMUNIST MAOIST PARTY ZONAL COMMITTEE, TELANGANA
RASHTRAM’ and got the same printed by the A-5 at a computer center.
The A-1 Pittala Srinivas is mastermind in manufacturing of country made
weapons. He manufactures the country made Tapanchas and alters the Air pistols
and Air revolvers. During this process, he uses to purchase required Air pistols and
Air Revolvers along with required cartridges and pellets by online. Then, he converts
them into revolvers & pistols by making necessary alterations. Since the A-1 is in
the profession of making the idols of various prominent people and gods etc., he also
got enough experience in manufacturing of country made firearms and ammunition
by using the (20) grams & (40) grams brass weights. Thus, the A-1 Pittala Srinu
agreed to manufacture the country made weapons, whereas the A-4 agreed to
arrange the rounds of country made Tapancha which he acquired while he was
working in the extremists.
According to their plan, the A-1 Pittala Srinivas @ Srinanna has recently
prepared three weapons i.e. a Country made Tapancha, converted Air Pistol and Air
Revolver (gas revolver) and handed over the same along with other material meant
for the making of firearms and ammunition to the A-2 VallaNaga Mallaiah. Further,
the A-4 Gangapuram Swamy also brought a live round of country made weapon and
handed over the same to the A-2 who in turn kept the same in his house at
Pathagutta road, Yadagirigutta.
Today i.e., on 06.11.2021at morning hours, on receipt of credible information
that the A-1 to A-4 gathered at the house of A-2 at Yadagirigutta and they were
under preparation for committing a cognizable offence, the sleuths of SOT Bhongir
zone with the help of Yadagirigutta town Police caught them in possession of three
illegal firearms, ammunition along with other material.
