Takashi FUJIKI, Byungdug JUN, Yusuke Morita, Daisuke YAGYU, (Nagasaki University)
Sangsoo Lee(Chonnam Nat’l University)
Kenji WATANABE, Toshihiko SHIMOKAWA(Saga University) (Kyushusangyo University)
Core Univ. Seminar : Distance learning sub-group of e-Learning team ( 2004.5.14)
We performed international distance exchange/learning
Feb. 18(Exchange), 19(Learning), 2004
Exchange flow
1)Greeting speech(Head master of ChNU's MS)
2)Introduction of each school
Introduction of each city, school, school events etc.
4)Q & A
Q & A by each group using translation chat.
5)Greeting speech(Head master of NU's MS)
Class Work ContentLearning about Energy Problem
(Theme: Lets think future of energy beyond the sea!)
Materials: Map and graph using Web-GIS(Comparing with quantity of electric power by power generation about Korea, Japan, and other country)
Explanation by expert(Kind of power generation and quantity, and new energy)
Class Work ExpansionShowing CoalsBurning coal has many problems.
(Done away with fossil fuel, Exhaust harmful
gases, Air pollution, Rise in temperature,
Acid rain)
Electric power is clean.Electric power is generated with coals. Our countries, Korea and Japan, 60% of electric power generation need coal etc..Thinking dream energy together.
Concept
Learning of Earth Environment breaking through the wall of country
“ Let’s think about future energy beyond the sea “Connecting between three points, Gwangju, Fukuoka and Nagasaki
Purpose
Practical study on international distance learning between three points with DVTS and Web-GIS
Factors on International Distance Exchange
Language -- Human Translation, Trans. Chat
Content -- Environmental Education
Materials of Learning -- Coal, Energy Map with Web-GIS
Environment -- DVTS(Video/Audio quality)

Reason for 3 points venue
Necessity of main teacherNecessity of equal footing for each students
・ School teachers have to care their students
・ Main teacher’s class will be a master class and not main teacher’s class will be a slave class.
