Make up a character…name, gender,
a few physical details, job
Write notes about them… waking up knowing
it’s going to be a bad day but not sure why
– feel, smell, see, hear
Team up with someone near you –
Your character now has an opponent or a buddy(?)
Share your characters so far…
Together suggest a few possible events…
(something that will test your characters- Let your imagination run free)
Create a scene…
1.What do your characters want?
2.What’s the conflict / challenge?
3.What’s their response?
Character + event = change
-You are the character
- You choose an event that illustrates the characteristic
- You share what’s changed and why it matters
Generate the story content by discussing in pairs
Make it real…How did it feel…
Must show grit… …be authentic!
(strengths and challenges / vulnerabilities /risks)
