3. Minimize the amount of text on each frame Instructional technology has become more prevalent in the last 15 years.

Access to the Internet and the ease of use of the World Wide Web have been contributing factors to the integration of technology into school classrooms. This project looked at the implementation of technology in four different high schools; a rural African American high school, an urban African American high school, a suburban charter high school and an academic magnet high school by interviewing the principals. The availability of technology in the classroom and school, professional development and access to technology at home for students were explored. A predetermined set of questions was used to initiate discussion, but the scope of the questions increased once the interviews began

This project looked at the long-term effort to improve the abilities of students and teachers related to the use of educational technology. In the past there was a difference in the amount of technology available and how that technology is used between high performing schools and low performing schools. The ability to use technology is an expectation for students entering college.
