PhD Thesis: Development of a lightweight facade system containing slotted steel girders: Hygrothermal aspects

The goal of the PhD dissertation was the monitoring and calculation of the facade containing slotted steel girders, research about international tendencies and the possibility of the Hungarian use of the facade. Consturctional variations were designed and calculated (with finite element programmes) from a hygrothermal point of view. On-site measurements were made to check the results of the calculations. Development solutions were suggested based on the results of the dissertation.

Interior Design Works

Current Research Area: Healthy Residential Interiors

Creating a healthy lifestyle is made up of several elements, it is a complex system containing different disciplines. We spend more and more time indoors, so it is especially important to create a healthy and comfortable indoor environment. These effects create a complex system, which require detailed monitoring. igényel.

Difficult parameters have to be monitored (such as the effect of new building materials,

technologies etc.) Many effect are still unknown. New illnesses are known: BRI – Building

Related Illness, SBS – Sick Building Sydnrome, SHS – Sick House Sickness.

I made monitorings, case studies about different parameters, e.g. carbon-dioxide level in

interiors, lighting level at different situations and their effects. Medical researchers give me

their knowledge and they help me in medical questions of this research.
