Port Manatee is the fourth largest

of Florida’s fourteen deepwater seaports.

Governed by the seven-member Manatee

County Port Authority, Port Manatee is

our community’s gateway to international

trade and commerce.

Located on over 1,100 acres, Port

Manatee is the hub for a wide variety of

agricultural and industrial commodities,

including forestry products, fruits and

vegetables, citrus juices, aluminum, steel,

paper products, petroleum products,

natural gas, cement, construction-grade

aggregate and fertilizer.

Construction has recently been completed

on Warehouse 11, adding more than

170,000 square feet of covered storage.

Port Manatee now has more than 1

million square feet of covered storage

facilities. Design and permitting has

commenced for the dredging of Berth

12. When completed, this will provide

approximately 1,600 feet of deep water

access adjacent to Berth 12. Additionally,

Port Manatee is expecting delivery of a

Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane Type G

6407. This will be the largest Gottwald

Mobile Harbor Crane operating in the

United States. The crane will provide many

opportunities for additional revenues and

will increase waterside efficiency.
