Pompeii
Italys most acclaimed archaeologist Giuseeppe Fiorelli made significant discoveries
The ruins at Pompeii were first discovered late in the 16th century by the architect Domenenico Fontana.
These are some of the discovery's that they help find.
It was actually the discovery of a nearby town called Herculaneum, a city that had also been destroyed by mount Vesuviu’s, Pompeii was later found years after that and was taken more seriously and that is how the lost city of Pompeii was found. At first they found it while discovering Herculaneum and was forgotten about and not taken seriously. So it was actually found accidently.

Pompeii
He used local laborers to do the digging with whatever tools were on hand including shovels, picks and wheelbarrows. It would of taken a lot of time and effort.
Pompeii
For a start they all made it out of the discovery alive and they made a amazing discovery. They
didn’t have any casualtys with finding it because the first time they were actually lokking for a
nother city in the first place. However they would have had great problems removing the laver and the jewels from the bodys the secondm time that
they came back.
In the discovery of pompeii they found many artifacts like these
pots.
Pompeii
These things as well
From what I can gather they obviously left or tried to leave in a rush. Unfortunately over 2000 of them died while trying.
Exhibition’s
An exhibition of the Great Italian is being held over 2 years of traveling and are visible through 4 U.S city's. The exhibition includes more than 250 artifacts including wall sized frescoes, gold coins, jewelry, grave goods and Marble and bronze statuary also people can view them in the exhibition sites.
Archeologists
This has taught me how important that archeologists really are to our life and if we did not have them we would not have all of these wonderful topics to study.
