PROCEDURE
Warm up
Talking about their homes, where they live, with whom, introducing
new vocabulary by showing pictures on interactive whiteboard (L1
and L2)
showing pictures of house or building on interactive whiteboard and
talking about differences between them :
(House is small, building is big; building has flats; house has garden (L2))
I am telling students to raise their hands who live in a house and who live in
a flat.
Main activity
Showing starter activity on interactive whiteboard - places where
people live (house, flat, bungalow, caravan)
After looking in each picture and reading we conclude that we live in
a house or in a flat.
Clicking on the picture of the house opens up a new image (I am
asking one student to come and do that):
Next, I am asking students to read text with my help. Student shows
where is upstairs and where is downstairs.
Next student is clicking on a LOOK INSIDE button and new picture
opens up:
BREAK 5min
I am showing students different rooms in a house and they are
telling which room is it – bathroom, living room, bedroom,
kitchen (L1), than I am telling in L2 and they are repeating words.
(several times to memorize the names of rooms, the assumption is
that they already know)
Then we are moving on to the second part – building; flat by
showing activity:
The steps are the same as in first activity, except we are paying attention
that the building has flats where people live. (L1, L2)

Playing interactive game and practicing vocabulary (playing game by
pressing the button when two same house or buildings shows up in a
picture)(L2)
Playing another game with practicing vocabulary and noticing that every
house has a number.
Last activity is moving into the computer room. Students work in
pairs. The task is to design their house. Which is introduction of a
new theme for the next activity, - furniture.

Zagrevanje
Razgovor o tome gde učenici žive, sa kim, da li je to kuća ili zgrada.
(L1 and L2)
Prikazujem slike na interaktivnoj tabli, kuća i zgrada, zatim pričamo o
razlici medju njima :
(kuća je manja, zgrada je veća, u zgradi ima više stanova, kuća ima dvorište
(L2))
Govorim učenicima da podignu ruke ko živi u kući, zatim ko živi u zgradi
(L2), samim tim vežbamo engleski jezik u svakodnevnim situacijama.

Projektujem prvu aktivnost na tabli – gde sve ljudi žive (house, flat,
bungalow, caravan)
Nakon posmatranja slike zakljucujemo mi najčešće živimo u kući ili u
stanu.
Klikom na kuću otvara nam se nova slika (biram učenika koji će da
izaĎe na tablu da to uradi (L2)):
Biram sledećeg učenika koji će da pročita tekst sa slike uz moju
pomoć. Učenik uz moju pomoć pokazuje gde je prizemlje, a gde prvi
sprat Zaključujemo da kuća nema više od jednog sprata, a može da
bude i prizemna.

Zatim, sledeći učenik otvara sledeću sliku klikom na LOOK INSIDE
dugme, pojavljuje se unutrašnjost kuće:
Pokazujem učenicima različite prostorije u kući, a oni govore kako se koja
prostorija zove (L1), zatim ja govorim naziv svake prostorije na engleskom
jeziku (L2), a učenici ponavljaju (ponavljam nazive više puta kako bi učenici
zapamtili, mada je pretpostavka da oni to već znaju)
Prelazimo na sledeći deo - zgrada; stan tako što otvaramo sledeću
sliku:
Koraci rada su isti kao i kod prve slike – kuća, ali obraćamo pažnju na to da
zgrada ima više stanova i više porodica može u njoj da živi (L1, L2)

aktivnosti
Ponavljamo novonaučene reči uz pomoć interaktivne kuće gde se
svaka prostorija uvećava klikom i pojavljuju se nazivi prostorije.

Zatim igramo interaktivnu igru (biram više učenika tako das vi učenici
učestvuju u igrama) kako bi učenici što bolje savladali i sadržaj
nastavne jedinice i nove reći (igra se igra tako da se pritisne dugme
kada se pojave dve iste kuće)(L2)
Igramo sledeću igru, gde učenici treba da dostave pisma u kuće sa
odredjenim brojem. Tako zaključujemo da svaka kuća ili zgrada ima svoj
broj.
Na kraju se selimo u informatički kabinet (koji se nalazi preko puta
naše učionice ,te pomeranje neće uzeti puno vremena, a sve je već
unapred pripremljeno) . Učenici rade u paru i njihov zadatak je da
osmisle i dizajniraju unutrašnjost kuće.
