Facts about Parks Conservation & Lands (PCL)

PCL manage 73 % of the land in the ACT;

• Area of the ACT 235,824 ha• Area managed by PCL 172,564 ha

Number of Workers Male 255 Female 75 Designated fire staff 145 Indigenous positions 3 Apprentices & Trainees 11

Barriers/ Challengers PCL face.

PCL undertake numerous and varied activities across an enormous area.

Some barriers that impact on OHS are;

• Poor communication and dissemination of OHS information.

• Lack of or no consultation.• Time constraints.

How PCL Report

PCL use three forms for reporting any unplanned event
