Painkiller Addiction

Painkiller addiction is killing Americans. Over one-third of all Americans manage pain withprescription painkillers. Every day, sixty people die as a result of overdoses from opioids. In ayear, that's 22,630 deaths in the U.S. Narcotic painkillers are highly addictive because theyrelieve pain and give a euphoric feeling that the user’s brain becomes addicted to. When takenas prescribed, painkillers are less likely to be a problem, but users still fall into painkilleraddiction for a variety of reasons.Painkillers are analgesics or groups of drugs and medications that are intended to reduce orease pain. Painkillers can range in function and have specific purposes, such as treatment formigraine pain for example, or for the purpose of treating general pain symptoms. Unfortunately,it is easy to develop a painkiller addiction.
