Updating Course Content

• Need for Change– IT is a rapidly changing field of study so our CMP

courses should reflect recent changes– Some course content is too theoretical, there is a

need to present this content in a more effective manner

• Changes in course curriculum– Teach web-related tools– Use a web-development tool at beginners level– Present some course material in video format– Involve students in team projects in analyzing

computers and making an appropriate choice– New set of Textbooks to cope with technology
