Outdoor Adventure Scavenger Hunt

Head outdoors with the family on a walk through your neighborhoodand mark off as many of the items you see on the attached sheet.

Coffee Filter Flower Craft

• washable markers• coffee filters (1-4 per flower)• water• pipe cleaner• table liner or plastic wrap to cover table

Cover your work area so the markers do not bleed onto your surface.Usemarkers to scribble all over the coffee filters.Next, wet the newly-scribbledflowers, you won't need a lot of water. Set aside while you wait for thedecorated coffee filters to dry. The colors will continue to bleed as they sit.

After the coffee filters have dried, you are ready to assemble.Stack as many filters as you want for a single flower together and fold in half. Then, fold in half again, so it's in fours. You can then continue to accordionfold. Use a pipe cleaner to tightly attach the point of your folded coffee filters.Be sure to cinch it tightly so it holds. Then, gently separate the folded piecesfrom one another, and then you’re done!
