Dear Faith Family,
I John 4:16 says, “God is love-Whoever lives in love lives in God and
God in him.” Tony and I have been blessed by your love to us the
last several weeks. Your prayers, calls, visits, cards, and food have
been an outpouring of your love for the Father and for us.
You are one of God’s very special blessings to us. We love you and
thank God for you.
His love and ours,
Peggy and Tony

News from the Missions Commi!ee The Missions Commi)ee is working to develop an overall
missions plan for TCBC that is consistent with an Acts 1:8
Missions Strategy.
In keeping with the effort, the Missions Commi)ee is
announcing two new ini"a"ves to be carried out over the next
two months.
1. Second Quarterly Local Missions Project:
Free clothes give-a-way to needy people in our local
community (school supplies would also be included).
A tenta"ve date of Saturday, August 5, 2017 has been
set.
2. Mee"ng the needs of Odum Home—a NC Bap"st
Children’s Home in Pembroke, NC:
While partnering with Bap"st Children’s Homes of NC
with a focus on the Odum Home in Pembroke will be
part of our ongoing missions strategy for North
Carolina, this will be a targeted, short term drive to
meet as many needs of Odum Home as we can by the
"me of our Vaca"on Bible School (July 9-13). We hope
to coordinate this effort through VBS and our Sunday
School classes.
There will be more informa"on forthcoming about these two
new ini"a"ves in the next two weeks. Please stay tuned.
