1 year visual performing art
PE requirement
A semester sport played in 10th grade can replace a semester of PE
Sports that begin after second semester begins (in Feb) may not replace PE –
GIRLS – softball, track
BOYS – volleyball, tennis, track, lacross and golf
UC and CSU systemHow does the UC
and CSU determine eligibility?
1. Completion of the required UC "a-g" Subject List in high school;
2. The GPA earned in "a-g" courses taken in the 10th and 11th grades;
3. Scores on standardized tests, including the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT (with Writing), plus two SAT Subject Tests for UC’s (in two different subject areas).
College Requirements
a-g A. History/Social Science – 2 years required
B. English - 4 years of college-preparatory
C. Mathematics – 3 years required, 4 years recommended. Must complete Algebra II or Intermediate Algebra CP.
D. Laboratory Science – 2 years required, 3 years recommended – including: biology and chemistry.
E. Language Other than English –2 years - Reach level II
F. Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) – 1 year required
G. College Preparatory Electives – 1 year required
College Grade requirements
Students may not earn a D or F in any college prep course
