7.0 User Interface Features

Main Screen – Single Image mode

1. Image to process

This is the image that will appear in background – Mainly the image that you want to

watermark.

2. Image preview window

Will display the actual image size, the preview window is where you will also be able to

define the watermark position.

3. Insert text watermark on image

Check the “check box” to activate this option, you will need to select the “Font Type” and

“Font Color”.

4. Image watermark

Insert the watermark image by activating this option

5. Save | Clear all

Save final image displayed in the “Image Preview Window”

6. Selected images

The list box will display all the locations of images that is selected for processing

7. Saving location of newly processed files

“Select Saving Location” – where you want to save the newly generated files.The software

defaults the save location to “Processed images” folder on your desktop, the folder will be

automatically created if it doesn’t exist.

8. Watermark settings

Check “Insert text on image” then select the font type and font color if you want to enable

this feature – you can position the watermark by clicking inside the “Preview Window” (See

9. Enable preview during batch processing.

Activating this option will display the images being processed in the “Preview Window”

10. Saving Options

You can resize the final image upon saving or keep the original size. The setting is common

for both batch and single image modes.

The software provides the choice between “Keep original size” this will not change any

image size and will act to keep the original size unchanged.

The other option is mainly to reduce desk space, the software offers the “Resize image”

choice with different variations:

• Pixel – This allows the user to enter the size manually in Pixels, this choice should be

used with care as it will change all dimension of the image.

• Inch – This allows the user to enter the size manually in Inches, this choice should be

used with care as it will change all dimension of the image.

• Millimetre – This allows the user to enter the size manually in Millimetres, this

choice should be used with care as it will change all dimension of the image.

• Aspect ratio width based – This option will enable the change of width to any value,

the software will calculate the height based on aspect ratio of image.

• Aspect ratio height based – This option will enable the change of height to any value,

the software will calculate the width based on aspect ratio of image.

11. JPG Image Quality Setting

The software mainly uses this if you are saving the image as “jpg” format. A “100%” means

the image will not be compressed and will keep the same quality. The lower this figure is the

lower the quality of the saved image. However “100%” quality has a larger size. Setting the

quality setting to “80%” or “75%” is normally in the acceptable range.

12. Batch file Saving Mode

This setting mainly confined to the Batch processing mode. If you have several files that you

loaded in “6”, each with different file format i.e. “gif, jpg, bmp…..etc”, selecting “Keep

original file extension” will as suggested keep your original extension by saving the newly

processed image with the original file format that was loaded for it. You can choose to

convert all processed images to one file format by selecting “Save all processed images as”

then select the format you want to use from the available formats “jpg, png, gif or bmp”

Step 1:

Click in the “Settings” tab and ensure that setting is as shown below

Step2:

Click on “Browse” button to open the files dialog as shown below:

Browse to the “Tutorials” folder and select to open the image as shown below

Step 3:

Click on “Insert text on image (Watermark)” and add a text, Click on the “Watermark” button then

Click on the “Blue message” to see the Preview window

The preview window should look as shown below:

The text watermark will appear in location that you double click on

You can always change the font type and colour using “Select Font” and “Font Colour” buttons

located on the main screen. Then using the “Watermark” button you can watermark the image and

repeat the process to position the image.

Step 5:

You can save the image using “Save Image” button located on the main screen

Click on the “Save Image” button and same the resulting image with a new name

The image will be saved with the original dimensions, in this case (1024 x 768), to change this all you

need to do is go back to step 1, and change the settings to “Resize image” enter the size you want,

and Re-save the image.

On the main screen select “Insert an image” and set the position to top right corner as shown below

Click on the “Browse” Button and browse to the “Tutorials” folder and select “softwareicon.png”

This loads the size of the

image that you want to

Click on the “Overlay Image” button and the resulted image will now be shown on the Image

Preview window as below.

Depending on the size of the image, you can have a larger watermark. In this case the watermark

image is small although we can stretch it by increasing its size using the resize feature in the main

screen however this can cause the watermark image to lose its quality. Another way to resolve this is

by reducing the “Processed image” size first then overlaying the image.

This setting will resize any image loaded to a width of 250 pixel and automatically adjust and

calculate the image height to match the original image aspect ratio

Adding multiple images to your image or photo is only valid in “Single image Mode”
