This facility consists of a new shop building with state-of-the-art computerized CNC

type beam fabrication equipment.

New Beam & Structural Shapes Fabrication Facility - 2011 This new equipment processes beams, channels, rectangular/square tubes, angles and other structural

shapes utilizing a seven axis Robotic Plasma Cutting System. It cuts material to length, copes, compound

miters, bevels, cuts weld access & bolt holes and etches piece marks, heat numbers and layout lines for

weldments.

This equipment meets ANSI/AISC 360-05 Standard Specification for Structural Bolt Holes.

120’X170’ Material Preparation Shop - 2009 with: • Computerized CNC Pipe Coping/Cutting Machine with up to 48”pipe capacity, 260 amp plasma

or oxy fuel, programmed square or beveled cuts.

included four different sets of drawing revisions. Total weight for each mat is

approximately 5 tons.

• Continual projects for past 7 years began onshore and personnel moved offshore with project

• Crew size ranged from 10 to over 100 personnel

• Site preparation required dismantling and removal of drilling derrick and all drilling equipment

• Activities included installation of varying sizes of modular units, some requiring support from derrick barge

• Omega ASME Coded Vessel Shop fabricated new gas scrubber unit and our crew performed installation

• Omega Technical Division provided I&E, Fire & Gas Safety Systems and navigational aids

• I&E hook-up/installation of all production modules

• I&E and Fire & Gas Safety systems for FAA building addition and antenna supports, all suppression system

upgrades/modifications, general alarms systems, upgrades to MCC and soft starters for pumps

• Crew ranged from 35 to 51 personnel continuously working to complete upgrades

• Scope broadened throughout the project and encompassed structural and piping removal

• New construction and installations included piping/structural additions and modifications, skid

installations, changing deck plates, installation of T-beams for tank anodes, flare boom and

complete system upgrades

• Project duration was over one year

• Installation of a 30 ton I-Tube deck under the existing hull structure

• Accomplished without aid/cost of derrick barge

• 8” vent line removal/replacement inside columns was all Confined Space activity

• All work performed while in production and flowing accept main tie-ins

• Crew consisted of 40 to 95 personnel for over one month

• Omega Technical Division installed all pneumatics for the chemical injection system, TUTA

panel, HPU for the new umbilicals and installed all pneumatic interconnections

Extensive Repairs after Platform Fire

• Omega scope was the removal and replacement of all systems and equipment damaged in the

fire

• Crew of 40 to 64 personnel worked 24 hours/day for over 1 year on this project

• Removal and repairs included all ASME vessels, new processing equipment, heliport, living

quarters, piping and structural repairs including some main beams

• Heliport was rebuilt by our onshore personnel then shipped offshore for installation by our

offshore personnel

Sea Water Disposal Caissons • Removal of a 42” caisson and installation of new section from the plus 10 level to the plus 15

level

• Crew consisted of 16 people working offshore and duration was approximately 50 days

• The crew worked in tandem with other contractors performing other activities during the same

time frame. Our personnel utilized air tuggers, spider baskets, scaffolding and other

equipment/tools we shipped in from Louisiana to remove and replace the caisson.

Hurricane Damage Restorations

• Project was a major removal, repair and replacement of damaged equipment, vessels, piping,

and structural components restoring two platforms to production after significant hurricane

damages.

• Crew working on this project consisted of 40 people. Repairs and replacements included

structural components, vessels, tanks and process equipment.

• Omega Technical Division services included the hookup and tie-in of pneumatics for the well

control panel to the well bay pneumatics.

• Activities include repair, replacement, installation, hook-up and demobilization of equipment

and systems as directed. Work can be performed during production to complete, repair and
