Topic: The Romans and their impact on Britain

What should I already know? I live in Winsford which is a town in the county of Cheshire. Chester is a city in Cheshire. Many people in Britain lived in tribal kingdoms. The main occupation of the British was farming. During the Iron age, hill forts had been built to protect from invaders. History is split up into time periods. Previous time periods included the Stone age, the Bronze age and the Iron Age.
