Now thank we all our God with hearts and hands and voic-es,

Verse 1 of 3

Who won-drous things hath done, in whom His Church re-joic-es,

Verse 1 of 3

Who from our moth-ers’ arms hath blessed us on our way

Verse 1 of 3

With count-less gifts of love, and still is ours to-day.

Verse 1 of 3

O may this boun-teous God through all our lives be near us,

Verse 2 of 3

With ev-er joy-ful hearts and bless-ed peace to cheer us,

Verse 2 of 3

And keep us in His grace, and guide us when per-plexed,

Verse 2 of 3

And free us from all ills in this world and the next.

Verse 2 of 3

All praise and thanks to God, the Fa-ther, now be giv-en,

Verse 3 of 3

The Son, the One who reigns with Him in high-est heav-en,

Verse 3 of 3

The one E-ter-nal God, whom earth and heav’n a-dore;

Verse 3 of 3

For thus it was, is now, and shall be ev-er-more.

To-geth-er in u-nit-y, so Da-vid did tell;

Like beau-ti-ful mu-sic, a breath-tak-ing view,

Verse 1 of 3

Like most pre-cious oint-ment, like fresh morn-ing dew

Verse 1 of 3

That de-scend-ed on the moun-tains of Zi-on long be-fore;

Verse 1 of 3

God com-mand-ed a bless-ing of life for-ev-er-more.

How good and how pleas-ant for breth-ren to be

Verse 1 of 3

Dwell-ing safe-ly to-geth-er in sweet har-mo-ny.

Now Je-sus was pray-ing with fer-vent de-sire

Verse 2 of 3

That all who be-lieve in His great name might be one.

Verse 2 of 3

With voic-es u-nit-ed, to-geth-er we stand,

Verse 2 of 3

At peace with the Heav-en-ly Fa-ther and Son.

Verse 2 of 3

When we come in-to the knowl-edge and u-ni-ty of God,

Verse 2 of 3

And we grow and we fol-low the steps that Je-sus trod,

Verse 2 of 3

How good and how pleas-ant for breth-ren to be

Verse 2 of 3

Dwell-ing safe-ly to-geth-er in sweet har-mo-ny.

One bod-y, one spir-it, one Lord and one faith,

One bap-tis-m pic-tur-ing life ev-er-more,

Verse 3 of 3

One hope and sal-va-tion, just as we are called.

Verse 1 of 3

Thy per-fect righ-teous-ness, O Godthe heav-en's height ex-ceeds;

Verse 2 of 3

O God, who is like Thee, who has per-formed such might-y deeds?

Thou, who hast shown me tri-als soreand great ad-ver-si-ties,

Verse 2 of 3

Will quick-en me a-gain and bring me from the depths of earth.

Verse 2 of 3

My great-ness and my pow'r Thou willin-crease and far ex-tend;

And I will al-so praise Thy truth,O God, with psal-ter-y;

Verse 3 of 3

Thou Ho-ly One of Is-ra-el, with harp I'll sing to Thee.

A new com-mand-ment I will give, to mag-ni-fy the way to live;

Verse 1 of 3

Love each oth-er as you do, with the love I’ve giv-en you.

Verse 1 of 3

And by this shall all men know, all a-round the world you’ll show,

That you are My dis-ci-ples, you’re My sis-ter and My broth-er;

Verse 1 of 3

And by this shall all men know, ev-’ry friend and ev-’ry foe,

Verse 1 of 3

That you are My dis-ci-ples if you love one an-oth-er.

Verse 1 of 3

Not called to be luke-warm or cold, but zeal-ous like the men of old;

Verse 2 of 3

Do the will of God a-bove; grow in His e-ter-nal love.

Verse 2 of 3

And by this shall all men know, all a-round the world you’ll show,

Verse 2 of 3

That you are My dis-ci-ples, you’re My sis-ter and My broth-er;

Verse 2 of 3

And by this shall all men know, ev-’ry friend and ev-’ry foe,

Verse 2 of 3

That you are My dis-ci-ples if you love one an-oth-er.

Verse 2 of 3

I give my life for all man-kind, and call you at this spe-cial time;

Verse 3 of 3

Do the work and feed the flock; build your house up-on the Rock.

Verse 3 of 3

And by this shall all men know, all a-round the world you’ll show,

Verse 3 of 3

That you are My dis-ci-ples, you’re My sis-ter and My broth-er;
