Our New Year’s Eve program will begin immediately after

Evening Worship on Sun., Dec. 31st at 7p

with our Mass Chorus in concert at 8p. The New Year’s program will be from 10p-12a followed by Singing & Praying from 12:30a-

2a and concluding with breakfast from 2a-3a. Please make

plans to attend.

On Dec. 30th at 4p, we will have a retirement/appreciation program &

dinner for Grady Sherman. Please sign up by Wed., Dec. 27th. Please remember to bring your cards of congratulations, well wishes and gratitude with a “little

something” inside them.

The Drama Ministry will present a play about the life of MLK for the MLK

appreciation on Mon., Jan. 15th. For all who are interested, please see Stanley Shootes

or Dee Hampton. We have a need for actors and stage/prop crew.

Ladies who are attending the 2018 National Lectureship, sample polo shirts are available for you. Please stop by the Fellowship Hall to try one on.

Thank you so much for supporting us by donating clothes and shoes for our clothes pantry!

However, our storage room is at capacity, please do not donate anymore until we notify you.

Please continue to donate non-perishable food items to our food pantry such as: canned items

such as meats and veggies, bagged items such as rice and noodles, boxed items such as cornbread

and cereal, jarred items such as peanut butter/jelly and sauces.

Congratulations to Arthur and Shanita Hairston who welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on

Dec. 14th.

Congratulations to Sarafina Hinton who has been promoted to the rank of E-5.

Congratulations to Ceolamar Ways, the son of Chuch and Cathy Ways, he graduates on Dec. 17th from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Phychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He has aspirations of running track professionally and then attending Medical School.

Congratulations to Ariella Hudson, the daughter of Orale & Reana Mayes, she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Bethune-CookmanUniversity on Dec. 16th.
