IT’S AN interesting con-cept: Take two fat Brits toanother country and makethem stay with other fatpeople, eating what theyeat. Can they shock themskinny?

Dan Harrison, whoweighs 152kg, once ate 15doughnuts in one session:‘‘A fact that I’m both proudand ashamed of,’’ the22-year-old says.

His girlfriend dumpedhim ‘cos he was too fat.That made him sad, so hecomfort-ate, which madehim even fatter.

Lauren French is mor-bidly obese, tipping thescales at 146kg, but says:‘‘I’m fine with my appear-ance. I believe I carry it offquite well.’’

Lauren actually believesher weight is not an issue.‘‘I’m not happy with thenumber on the scales but Iknow I’m not unhealthy,’’she says.

Their first visit is to theGonzales family. The nar-rator calls them ‘‘the enor-mous Gonzales family’’.

In the one family arefour Miriams, which ma-kes remembering namespretty easy. They serve upa delicacy — a whole-cooked cow head, completewith brains. ‘‘It was closeto heaven for me,’’ saysmeat-lover Dan.

Second stop is stayingwith Maria, who weighs113kg and drinks 10 litresof Coke a day.
