TOOLS: A user will be able to define how he wants to see the windows

and data display in panels

TOOLS

It is recommended to do it in the order of buttons starting by

the top one

TOOLS “User Preferences file”

1- User Preferences file

e.g. the user selects the FLIGHTS panel

1- User Preferences file

With the use of the UP and DOWN button the user selects the FLIGHTS

elements (attributes) and put them in the desired order.

Remark/ above the “……….” line Is the permanent columns limit. the user can define above it what will be the elements columns always visible

It is recommended to open at the same time the panel concerned by

the re-organisation in order to visualise how it will looks like later…

After having reorganized fields:1. SAVE (Fields Order

management)2. Then leave NEDI3. Then Start again NEDIThis will load the preference file

After the reorganization of the order of the fields …the Edition window are as desired except:•the size of the window is not as I would like now

After the reorganization of the order of the fields … Main window looks like that

and I would like to better see some columns by increasing the size of this main window …

First close all NEDI windows then….

TOOLS “Window Sizing”

Launch the button=> “Window Sizing”

2- Window Sizing

To Note: It is important to have the data-input window not yet opened before launching the window sizing process.

While keeping the “Window sizing function” openedOpen NEDI=> TRAFFIC

2- Window Sizing

1. Resize your window in order to see the

columns as desired

- Window Sizing still opened

2. Save the size with the use of

button “Save” on the right of the

line of icons

1. Resize your Edition window now in order to see the Fields as desired…

- Window Sizing still opened

2. Save the size with the use of button “Save” on the bottom of the edition window

3. Then push “Cancel” to close

At least “SAVE”

Window Sizing and restart NEDI

3- Window Organisation

To Note: It is important to have the data-input window not yet opened before launching the window sizing process.

Launch the button=> “Window Organisation”

e.g. the user selects the FLIGHTS panel

e.g. the user gets this panel. What does it mean?

What does it mean?After having defined the “size of the window” and the “order of the fields”

However some lines does not end as you

want

The user selects “Entry Point" meant Starts next line on this

value

The user Save then restart NEDI

When launching the data-input, the user have now this line starting by

“Entry Point” as desired and all fields fits the window

The user is also able to see the log file with the use of this button
