Before Redesign
Class 4 days per week (50 minutes each)
3 traditional lectures – 90 students
1 problem session – 30 students
Homework given in WebAssign
DFW Rate: 22%
Blended Course
3-4 meetings per week
2 traditional lecture meetings (240 students)
1 optional day for projects, tests, group work, etc.
1 problem session – virtual classroom
DFW Rate: 11%
