The Battle of WaterlooThe Battle of Waterloo

News of Napoleon’s return created quite a stir in Europe. Napoleon’s enemies declared him an outlaw and readied themselves for war. Napoleon and his troops were greatly outnumbered and defeat was imminent. Waterloo lasted less than 12 hours on a Sunday afternoon. The French were no match for the British and Prussian forces.
