ME

I’m Ania, member of AEGEE-Warszawa. I was President in 2010/11 and 2011/12 (on this pic you can see my last Board) Now I’m a Chairman of Supervisory Board.

I don’t want to get you bored with my application, so

to introduce myself I prepared 3 short stories.

What is AEGEE?

But these stories will present you something more. It will be my definition

of AEGEE. Let’s start!

Chapter one

DANCEFLOOR

Everything started on the

almost 10 years as DANCER.

I used to dance. Dancefloor was a place where I’ve felt free, true and happy. Dancefloor was a place where I’ve had my GREATEST SUCCESSES and my BIGGEST FAULTS.

True PASSION

But there were more fields where I was good. After my final exams in high school I had to decide:

what I will do? what I will study?

CHEMIST DANCER

or

CHEMIST I picked Chemistry…

Next step was move to Warsaw, and start study at Warsaw University of Technology. And it wasn’t so easy. I had 40 hours per week full of obligatory classes. Math, Phisics, labs…

No time for DANCE…

True story, bro.

So I stared looking

for new PASSION?

In the same time I joined to AEGEE. Why? Honestly? Recruitment process to

AIESEC was closed and recruitment to BEST hasn’t started yet.

So maybe AEGEE? What is it? Why not?

Then, I started my adventure there. Adventure with people. I took part in my first LTC, and let’s say there EVERYTHING STARTED… I participated in leadership workshop ...

During it I noticed that I feel so happy, so true and so good. I felt the same as on the dancefloor.

So I started working with people and for people…

and decided that I want to be a TRAINER!

Coordinator of project: THINK PINK (monthly soft skills and artistic workshops for students) , 3L:Learn,Love, Lead ( 4 days intensive training for youth leaders of Polish NGO), Mentoring Project in AEGEE-Warszawa, Warsaw Ideas Factory I & II ( Strategic Planning Meeting for AEGEE-Warszawa, 2nd edition was with my facilitation), KT for New Board Originator of ChangeMakers' team, group which created and implemented new mission of AEGEE-Warszawa. Team member of: TSU AEGEE-Warszawa, AEGEE-Lublin, LTCs, President of AEGEE-Warszawa in 2010/2011, President of AEGEE-Warszawa in 2011/2012, Chairman of Supervisory Board of AEGEE-Warszawa 2012/2013. Non-AEGEE experience: Coordinator of Training course for Students' Parliament of Warsaw University of Technology Originator of A TEAM, group which created and implemented new mission of STER (Warsaw University of Technology trainers' pool). PR Responsible in Board of STER.

Chapter two

To be honest, when I joined to AEGEE-Warszawa it was like Dino Park…

Old and experienced members still thinking about past…

But I AM energetic,

PROACTIVE

I want to change that situation. I became

PRESIDENT with only 5 months experienced.

But after my election we still

were kind of losers

I motivated myself, I motivated my friends

to change it!

And the change has

started!

If I go to Dzikowko turning left or right… There could be more than one method to achieve mission of AEGEE!

We started the CHANGE in our antenna with forming one question:

And we found our own way.
