My neighbourhood

Suncity is a suburb in the southeastern part of the Athens basin in the southwestern outskirts of Hymettus, with an altitude of 210 meters. It forms the municipality of the Attica region and is part of the Metropolitan Group of Athens.It has an area of approximately 12,700 acres, of which 5,700 are forests and 7,000 area is covered by the settlement (squares, streets, houses, etc.). The average altitude of the area is 150. In the 2011 census was 64,205

The Athletic Club of Suncity was founded in 1953 in the eponymous region, has 9 sections and numbers about 2,000 athletes.Foremost exponent of these activities, the General Assembly Suncity brought up by two small football teams Suncity, the PAO Saint Marina and the Flame. It is located in Saint Marina. The year 1967 and after discussions of factors, they decided to merge and named the new club "G.S.Suncity the first president K. Pouliadis.

The company was founded by G.Bena and A.Tsirogianni in 1987 and it is run as a wholesale and retail selling point of drinks and nuts. It is very popular among the people in Suncity particular in Saint Marina.

It's been more than 70 years, from 03/20/1935, when the poor inhabitants of the edges of Ymittos in Suncity, decided to build this church for their faith in God hoping for the future of a large parish.

This our neighborhood square.It have recently decorated and it have more visitors that it ever had.Adults,children and babys come everyday to play,eat and have fun all day long.

The best theatre in our town is “The Municipal Theatre of Suncity”. Some times during the Year (but mostly in the Summer) over 2,000 theatre lovers come to see our beautiful plays.
