We knew these coils were leaking, but, weren’t sure where. After injecting green dye into the refrigerant we found the leak was on the inside of the coils, avoiding detection.

Welding the refrigerant lines is important, but, the prep work before welding is doubly so. Rough edges, slag, or other detritus can severely impact the efficiency and lifespan of your a/c equipment.

We cleaned over 3 pounds of sludge out of a set of AC coils … the homeowner immediately noticed the air was cooler and “crisper.” Dirty ac coils work at a fraction of their potential!
