The Mid-County Service Center was established in 1978 to serve: Wheaton, Kemp Mill, Aspen Hill, Glenmont, Layhill, and Kensington and was further expanded in 1990 to include Norbeck, Olney, Sandy Spring, Upper Rock Creek, and Brookeville.

The Center links the 222,491 residents and businesses with the Montgomery County Maryland governmental departments and agencies.

Liaison with Other County Departments

Coordinate projects among multiple agencies

Assist other Departments in the area with outreach on their projects

Recommend programs and/or services specifically tailored to the needs of the Mid-County community

Provide input from the community to our leaders to assist them in making policy and other decisions
