Mid-Autumn Festival Falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar

month of the Chinese calendar.

On that night, the moon appears to be at its fullest and brightest.

As the full moon is round and

symbolizes reunion, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as the Festival of Reunion.

Those who cannot return home watch the bright moonlight and feel deep longing for their loved ones.
