Shelters are filled with dogs that have potty training,

socialization, and obedience issues, all of which could have been prevented through

proper training.!

Promote the importance of training by…

1) Using positive! reinforcement!

2) Socialization with others!

3) Train them young!!

Responsibly using positive reinforcement when a pet

has a behavioral

issue.!

Abuse training can cause a fear response in

dogs.!

Dogs that are constantly afraid of abuse become

aggressive.!

A Jack Russell I had groomed for 2 years had to be given away due to physical abuse making it

aggressive to most women it came in contact

with.!

Socialize your pet with

friends, family, and other pets.!

Socialization can allow your dog to overcome their fear

of their surroundings.!

REMEMBER:!Fear is a major

cause of aggression.!

My Grandmother had an aggressive American Eskimo

for 2 years.!

After living with her for a year and introducing “Maddie”

to new people, she is completely over her fear of

Puppy training not only forms strong bonds but also prepares them for a life full of various

I have sent many dogs home without finishing their groom

due to aggression issues from a lack of early age

training. !

And keep them happy!

Make them friendly!

Keep them safe!

Basic training is as important for the

owner as it is for the dog, and

socialization is the key to a well-adjusted adult dog.!
