How To Make Shamrock Cookies
Original recipe makes 18 Cookies
You will need:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg,
1 (3 ounces) package instant pistachio pudding mix,
1 tablespoon of white sugar,
1 1/3 cups of baking mix
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease baking sheet.
2. Cream together the butter or margarine and the pudding mix. Blend in the baking mix, egg and sugar mix well.
3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 3/8 inch thickness and cut into cookies with a shamrock cookie cutter.
4. Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges. Let cookies cool on rack. Frost on green colored icing if desired.

Looking for a way to show your St. Patricks Day spirit? Go to San Francisco on Saturday, March 15th, 2014. There you will have tons of fun either watching or being in the annual St Patrick's Day Parade. This parade includes Irish traditional music and dance, marching bands, festival food, drinks, and lots of floats with green festive decor literally flowing out of the windows! Don't worry about being the only ones there though, because this Parade & Festival attracts an estimated 100,000 people. Admission is free for all visitors. You can be there for 11:30 AM to watch the parade and enjoy the festival from 11 AM to 5 PM. If you want to follow the parade, it begins at 2nd & Market and finished at Civic Center Plaza.
