Three EnglishProjects
Music Lyrics
Project
“All Around Us”
High School Editorial
English Autobiography
Over the summer Mr. Cicoletti had his students
write an autobiography. In classic Megan form I
procrastinated until about three days before it was due.
Despite my lack of enthusiasm over the project
once I got started it was actually a lot of fun and I think I learned a bit about
myself.
During the year I wrote an editorial about High School Stereotypes. I later received quite
a few compliments on my editorial.

My current personal project is challenging and
exciting to me in the following ways...
Earlier in the year Cheryl Brost and I began co-writing a book. I find this
project challenging because instead of just using my ideas and writing a book alone Cheryl and I bounce ideas off of each other and alternately take turns
writing. It’s exciting to me because writing and having someone else read my ideas is completely outside of my comfort zone. So far, though, I have enjoyed and looked forward to my
writing with Cheryl.Monday, June 6, 2011

Important new people I have met in the last year that will help me in the
future:
Cheryl Brost has become my closest friend at Minarets this year. She’s sweet, compassionate and she’s always ready to listen if you need to talk. She is always
willing to drop everything if you need her help.
Mr. Neihoff has encouraged me and given me numerous opportunities to help out
with fun activities.
Zena Samuelson has been a great help to me this year in Chemistry. She is very patient
and has a wonderful personality. I wish I had gotten to know her better this year, and I
hope I have the chance next year.

Three History or Geography projects
Sabrina Trimble and I made a newscast about a historical
event.
Over the summer Mr. Lewis had us read a
book called “Handicapped By History. I wrote a summary of
the book for beginning of the year extra credit.
The Voice of Democracy speech. I had to write a speech about how my generation would impact the world and how things were run. This was one of my least favorite
things to do all year.Monday, June 6, 2011
Relationships (friends, family) that I have
improved over the last few weeks:
My Uncle recently died of brain cancer. As a result my Mom and I have bonded and are a lot closer than we were previously.

A skill I'm going to work on in the next 90 days to make me more successful:
This summer my mother and I are going to learn spanish.
I took spanish one my freshman year but I didn’t really learn much. So, in order for me to take spanish two next year i’m buying Rosetta Stone to brush up on the work.

"There are thinkers and then there are DEEP THINKERS. Megan is a deep thinker. That girl doesn't always have a comment, but she know’s exactly what's going on at all times. Through her keen observation, careful reading and careful consideration, Megan can find truth at every turn. She's a honest, real and cool person. I'm glad we've gotten to know her. I hope she keeps bringing her refreshing insight to all at Minarets." - Michael Niehoff
I love Megan's hard head and toughness. If she says something is bad, it probably is. And if she says something is good, it probably is. She is smart and creative and really cares and that's awesome. -Jon Corippo
"Megan is a quiet leader and a good listener who seems wise beyond her years. She's got a strong mind and refrains from getting caught up in ephemeral dramas." - Dave Cicoletti
"Megan is a talented, funny, and an amazing friend, I am glad to have her as a friend in my life." - Ashley Tobin
"Megan is one of the most supportive and dependable people I know. When she has to get something done, she will not rest until it's finished. She will do whatever she can to help her friends. She is the best friend anyone could wish for and I am so happy to know her." -Cheryl Brost
