How to increase teacher effectiveness ?

As suggested by ‘ L. W.

Anderson’ TE can be to

some extent increased by

adopting the following

methods :-

1. Awareness of the value of several classroom activities.

:-Teacher should be made aware about the changes

needed for becoming effective. They have to be made

awareness of the value of several classroom activities.

2. Pre-service Trainings & Follow-up :- is must be given

to teachers as it not only updates them but also

develops sense of dignity for the profession which in

returns helps them.

3. Use of modern Techniques in the classroom

4 .Teacher should see that the desired

objectives set before lesson are achieved

during teaching.

5. Maximum learning of the student should

take place in the classroom.

6. Efforts for attention of students be done like

providing them incentives, motivation &

encouragement so that they perform well .

7. Teacher should monitor student’s

involvement in learning.

Conclusion :-Thus learning all Strategies influencing TE, is thus

important criteria for ensuring quality education & so

does require effective teachers to enhance the quality

of education & achieving targeted goals.

Though it is a very difficult task to change the

attitude of the teacher regarding ‘effectiveness’ but

still a need to help them awaking about the concept of

TE.
