Dear applicant,
Congratulations for opening this booklet! You have made the first step towards a
great and powerful experience that is being part of AIESEC Latvia’s National Team.
On behalf of MC Latvia 14.15 I have a great pleasure to release CEED application for
term 14.15. We count on that you will strive with us together to make AIESEC in
Latvia a better and stronger entity. As Gen2015 we are driven by purpose, striving for
change and higher results. We believe that the true power of our entity lies in its
people. Based on that only with YOUR support and engagement we can reach our
ambitions and achieve our goals. This document is created in order to give all the
information you might need for filling the application form. If you have any doubts or
any question, please ask anyone of the MC Team.
General Information
• Supporting MC and LCs towards national strategies planning and implementation.
• Cooperate closely with MC responsible in order to develop and run operations in
certain field during the term (whole or half of the term). In the application form you
can find specific role and responsibilities of MC Marketing& Communication CEEDer
in each functional area.
• Accountability and reporting to the MCP .
• Research and development of functional area. Enhancing MoS realization of
AIESEC in Latvia.
• Continuous communication with the MC and LCs and other involved stakeholders.
• Participate in national projects and events.
• Participation/facilitation at the required national conferences. Representing AIESEC
Latvia in global network.

Accountable to MCP
The Position
MC Marketing & Communication Manager
The main responsibility is to manage the external image of the organization and creating prom campaigns for the main projects: Global Talent, Global Citizen , Global Leader, Youth to Business and Recruitments. With MCP is going to be in charge of creating engaging content for showcasing AIESEC and what we do.
Responsibilities: • Responsible for promotion of MC and LC projects and events
• Maintaining all social media channels of AIESEC in Latvia (Facebook, Twitter, You
Tube etc.)
• Develop and track online & offline national marketing campaigns
• Creation of content and materials for social networks and media (articles, pictures,
videos…)
Measures of Success: # of media partnerships # of media appearances # of representations at external events (Career Fairs, Networking events..) # of national marketing campaigns # of students who get in touch with AIESEC in Latvia through our social media channels and offline promotion Weekly reach # of visits to our website # of fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter # team/individual coaching meetings delivered # Of EwA events
Special Requirements • Daily using social media channels (understanding on social media) Effective communications skills • Ability to summarize ideas • Understanding of AIESEC branding • Creative, responsible and able to meet deadlines • Daily communication with MC and LCVP
• Designing graphic materials for AIESEC in Latvia National Campaigns, recruitments and projects • EXPA implementation together with MC • Servicing of media partnerships • Organization of 20th years anniversary of AIESEC in Latvia • Representing organization in global network • Coaching and education of LCVPs
