A bitmap image is a file used to store a picture it consist of small blocks called pixels.Each pixel can be any colour and any brightness.

Photoshop allow you to create an illusion or deception in a photo. Photos are normally taken with a digital camera and put onto a computer.

THE NEED FOR NAMING FILES You should always name your files so

you know what each file is e.g. history presentation so you don’t have to spend ages looking through different files trying to find it. It also helps if you name the file the date which you made it on e.g.13/4/11.

some programs you cant edit everything that you want to edit.

BMP Stands for bitmap image file it’s a raster

PNG Stands for portable network graphics it’s

a bitmapped image format it employs lossless data compression

GIF Stands for graphics interchange format

it is also a bitmapped image format.

experts group it is a used method of lossy compressions for digital photography.
