Marienschule realschule is a secondary Christian school dedicated to the virgin Mary. It is located in the centre of Brilon and it’s divided in three buildings, from the new one to the old ones. This school received our group and all the others with a very good hospitality from all the students and the staff.

My host family

My host student’s name is Helena Shlüter, she is sixteen years old and she lives with her parents. They hosted me with much hospitality. Every morning I went to school with her by bus and this week we spent a lot of good time together!

Workshops and activities This week has been full of

interesting activities and workshops! We’ve been divided in six mixed groups: the first day I’ve been in the drawing group and the second I went in the wood with the GPS group. We also went visiting Brilon with all its monuments and we answered some questions to gain an icecream! The third day we also went visiting Paderborn by bus with a guide who showed us the main historical places of this beautiful town.
