Masha started to play tennis at age 4.At age 9 she began training at famous Bollettieri Tennis Academy in the USA.
Maria won many championships. Some years she was the best woman tennis player in the world. Now she is number 3.
She has nicknames Screaming Cinderella and The Siberian Siren. Her scream in the court is as loud as the plane sound. Maria herself says that the scream helps her to concentrate.
Maria carried the flag of Russian team during the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
She gives a lot of time and money to charity.
Masha has got her candy line named SHUGARPOVA.
My family likes to play tennis too.
