“Architecture can’t fully represent the chaos and turmoil that are part of the human personality, but you need to put some of that turmoil into the architecture, or it isn’t real.”

“I think my best skill as an architect is the achievement of hand-to-eye coordination. I am able to transfer a sketch into a model into the building.”

“My passion and great enjoyment for architecture, and the reason the older I get the more I enjoy it, is because I believe we – architects – can effect the quality of life of the people.”
-Richard Rogers
BLOODLINE3rd Year. Winter/Spring 2014
ACSA National Steel Design Competition
Allentown, PA is one of the fastest growing cities in Pennsylvania, however the subpar means of transit into the city leaves it almost tourist-less. Alike, the city center does not really offer anything to make people wnat to travel to Allentown. Bloodline is a revival project that brings back to life the continental railways system that was closed decades ago. The city itself has plans to construct as multi-use Hockey area as a means of tourist attraction. This mixed-use railway hub acts as the main bloodline to the new heart and soul of the city’s downtown area.
Thriving city in need of Revival Sub-par means of transit leaves city disconnected Master plans to build multi-use arena, which will act as the city’s new heart
Mixed-use railway hub will act as main bloodline to the heart

Architecture has to be greater than just architecture. It has to address social values, as well as technical and aesthetic values. On top of that, the one true gift that an architect has is his or her imagination. We take something ordinary and elevate it to something extraordinary.
-Samuel Mockbee

Digital FabricationTeam project3rd Year. Spring 2014
The design is based off a single module that is mirrored only one time. Together the two can be arranged in various different ways creating variant densities about the wall. The design incorporates parametric rules that can be optimized for environmental performance.
