Why link STP to curriculum?

• Important to success of school travel plan and embeds it in the school culture

• Easy links to Geography and Citizenship (PSHE)

• STP is not just a paper document

• “What have we been doing already?”

• Accreditation criteria

• Cross-curricular

Where do you start?• Liaise with teachers

• Ask for scheme of work

• Provide examples

• Advise additions

• If unit is taught – add to action plan

• Is your school champion part of SMT?

• Provide info on resources that link to curriculum
