Follow the instructions on the sheet.

You will be given a statement on a piece of sugar paper.

On the inside circle, come up with arguments for the statement.

In the outside circle come up with arguments against.

The statements are going to move around the room.

See if your table can add any more arguments into the circles.

As a table, highlight the strong arguments from the inside and outside circle.

1. Quality of life is more important than sanctity of life.

2. Having a deaf child does not justify an abortion.

3. If a foetus might have a disability when it’s born, the mother shouldn’t go through with the pregnancy.

4. People who do not want a child should not get pregnant.

5. Poor people should not have children because their quality of life will be poor.
